Equinox Cafe Restaurant

Ushering in the sunshine and nurturing the ocean views streaming in through the 360-degree windows, this dining setting is a Busselton classic. Just a stone's throw away from the pristine waters of the Geographe Bay, Equinox Cafe Restaurant is a casual cafe, restaurant and bar with a unique mod-Oz and Mediterranean-influenced menu of a la carte, tapas, gluten-free, and set group options on hand. From the lunch and dinner mains, you may find a fillet mignon or a catch of the day to keep the hunger at bay. If it's a drinks-and-tapas occasion, you'd be mad to forego a local Margaret River varietal, or for that matter, a titbit of chorizo or a smoked salmon terrine from the tapas menu.

Good Food and location
We had dinner there Christmas eve. It wasn't too busy and we had a table by the window looking out to the jetty. Service was prompt and the manager (or perhaps owner?) was friendly and helpful. The salt and pepper squid as a main was more than adequate and very tasty. The Asian salad it came with had a lovely flavour although maybe a little heavy on the soy sauce. The barramundi was melt in the mouth and came with vegetable (maybe a little too much oil) but very good although the waiter said it came on a bed of rice which it didn't. The garlic bread was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend the restaurant. Service maybe slower when really busy but was good when we were there - although we waited for a bill a while before going up and paying ourselves.
