An Adelaide institution, Enzo's is classic Italian at its best. The menu doesn't often change and nor does the decor, but Adelaide locals and visitors alike love this place for its warm, genuine and welcoming atmosphere and Enzo's incredibly skilled, traditional cooking. The braciolette di vitello al Bocelli (an aromatic meat dish with thinly sliced veal and herb and cheese filling, served with broad bean salad and chargrilled witlof) has become a popular trademark since Enzo cooked it for visiting singer Andrea Bocelli in 2004, and the fans (of both Italian cooking and Italian music) lap it up.

keep coming back
I'm an Adelaide person living in Qld these days & come back to Adelaide once a year. Each time I make sure we dine at Enzos. I'm pretty boring as I always order the calamarri & gnocci. There are only 2 places I go for great gnocci & that's here & Melb. A pity the decor is a little outdated. But don't let this put you off the great food.

Superb!
Every few weeks we eat out with friends and after hearing several reviews from friends and colleagues decided upon Enzo's as this months choice. We will certainly be returning to the restaurant and it will be on a very regular basis. The antipasto was superb as was the quail that I chose for my main course. My husband had the best gnochi that we have ever tasted (including in Italy!) Our friends had the marina pasta, beautiful and the chicken and avocado pasta - I am lost for words! Somehow I managed to squeeze in a gelato, hazelnut, vanilla and coffee YUM and my friend had a chocolate torte of which I will be saving room for next time! Their coffee was also brewed to perfection! I don't often leave tips (typical accountant lol!) but I gave them $10 as did our friends. The service was certainly as good as their food! Cao

Must have been an off day for Enzo
I have read so many good reviews for Enzos & so I decided to book for lunch for a special occasion. Although I had booked the table 2 weeks in advance, they had given away our table, and we had to sit in the outside area in the sweltering heat on cheap plastic chairs. It was around 15 mins before we even received a menu. Then in mid conversation a lady came out, stood in between diners at the side of our table and proceeded to tell us the specials, without even a simple 'excuse me'. The mains were only fish & veal, yet it took over an hour for our meals to come out. I only managed to eat half my uncooked, bland salmon. Very disappointing. After all the good reviews, unfotunately I didn't get to experience the great restaurant that people have applauded. Shame it had to happen on such a special occasion too.
