This cafe and microbrewery offers authentic, hearty German fare in an astounding two-acre beer garden. Try the smoked and pickled pork shank with roast potato and German sauerkraut, followed by a serve of warm apple strudel to finish. Don't leave without stopping by the shop at the rear of the restaurant, where you can stock up on a selection of Elmar's continental goodies to take home.

Sunday Lunch
Overall, we would go back. Service was extremely poor though. Don't come too hungry - the waiting times were really long. From order to main course (1 round of drinks between) was about 2 hours. No second offer for drinks. Atmosphere was nice, everyone looked happy, and the food was better than nice.
