This restaurant features modern Australian cuisine with an Italian twist. If you're after great pizzas, pastas and a nice drop of red, you've come to the right place. The seafood risotto comes recommended and can be paired with either a vino from the list, or your own wine from home - the restaurant's BYO policy is penny-pincher friendly.

Good food, prompt service, fantastic food.
I love this restaurant and am now a regular at Ellacure. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly waiter and seated immediately. The service is perfect, no slow staff here. The meals come out quickly (as an impatient person this is important to me) and taste fantastic. The warm crusty Italian bread is a perfect way to start. For entr?e they usually have a lovely soup which is perfect when you have just come in out of the cold, in the warmer months I usually go for a nice salad both taste fantastic. My favourite main is the beef fillet, it s to die for and a decent size. The desert is a slight let down, none of them really appeal to me. I ve tried the Jaffa ice cream and chocolate cake but wasn t happy with the tiny chocolate cake, I felt there was too much ice cream and not enough cake, but then again I just love cake. The decor is modern but elegant with a quirky feature wall of forks. The location is perfect, meaning on my side of Canberra with plenty of nearby parking. One of my favourites with the unbeatable combination of friendly staff, prompt service and tasty food.
