Receiving much recognition over the years for its truly Italian pizzas and pastas, the original Elio's restaurant remains an extremely popular venue for family and group nights out on Brisbane's south side. The approach is warm and hospitable, just like the avowedly rich and hearty flavours cooked up in Elio's kitchen. The pastas range from lasagne to gnocchi to tortellini, while the pizzas cover traditional and gourmet grounds, featuring the likes of formaggio (the four-cheeser), Cajun chicken and vegetarian gourmet. Garlic prawns, hickory ribs and calzones add extra variety to Elio's large stable of culinary staples.
