Noise
Element Bistro is a great restaurant, not over the top, cosy, great food, reasonably priced, very accessible for all in Sydney CBD. The downside is the noise inside, the tables are very closely positioned, so not a lot of privacy. There was a large table that occupied half of the restaurant, probably a xmas celebration. They generated a lot of noise to a point that it became unbearable. My guest and I left immediately after the main, and we had dessert and coffee elsewhere, where we could finally talk in peace without shouting. Large group bookings is probably not a good idea. And the walls could use some noise isolation...

Dinner and a Show
I cannot speak too highly of this wonderful ideally positioned intimate little restaurant. We all enjoyed the mouth watering dinner/dessert. What a fabulous selection. The waitress was efficient, courteous and a delight to deal with meeting all our special dietary requirements. Positioned within a two minute stroll to the Theatre Royal was an added bonus. We can definitely recommend this culinary experience.
