Restaurant Information
El Comida
El Comida is something of an institution, having been around for some 24 years. As such, it draws in the hip young scenesters, there to eat at their tried-and-tested meeting spot, as much as those who prefer to settle in and reminisce about their days of being young and hip over dinner. Despite its timelessness, it has evolved over the years. Its look is now minimalist and clean, the 'millennium look', as owner Glen describes it. So fear not, nary a plastic cactus or over sized sombrero is in sight. But what remains is the warm, funky atmosphere, the type that is can only be cultivated through being a genuinely fun restaurant for decades. And after all this time, people still line up for that big plate of nachos.

Not returning
Waitresses were rude, when we got one of their attention to place our order, she said 'just wait she will be coming to you when she (referring to the other waitress) is ready'. Five minutes later the same one returns. I asked to get a takeaway box, there were none, so she gave me some foil instead and I had to pack it myself. They did not show us the bill, as we drove away disappointed, we realised that she charged us $12 dollars extra, it was $23.50 for one meal, $16.50 for the other and three $3.50 for the extras we ordered. Which comes to $50.50 but we got charged $62.50. Also I have only seen nachos without meat once which was Hogs Breath but that stated that it was vegetarian. Rude, and the food was not Mexican and overcharged, I do not recommend people go there.
