The timber flooring and vivid orange walls at this Spanish deli-cum-cafe evoke powerful imagery of the exotic Mediterranean, and yet when you try the food you'll see that it leaves the mental images for dead.
An impressive display of jamon, chorizo and olive oil tortas should be the first sign that El Choto's foodie rep is well-deserved. Anyone still not convinced should then breathe a huge sigh of relief when they see owner Georgina Rogers, formerly of Bottega Rotolo, behind the counter. One taste of her mojama air-dried tuna fillets will be enough to know that her Iberian food knowledge is beyond reproach.
