Edgar's Inn is firmly instated as a favourite in the Ainslie area, endearing itself to the locals with its laidback tone and generous pub meals. The pub comfortably walks the line between the old-fashioned boozers and jazzed-up chrome palaces that make up so many local watering holes. A mixture of round timber tables and school hall-style benches are set in a warm, red-walled space, while outside there are seemingly enough tables for half of Ainslie to lounge in the sunlight. The kitchen does a mean breakfast on the weekends, but otherwise devotes itself to good quality pub grub. Order at the bar from a classic pub menu. Options include burgers, open steak sandwiches or generous seafood feasts.

I'd recommend the burger and the pub.
The location was quite good, as our group didnt have to go far for a good meal.
The pub itself is good for a catch up with mates, or a beer with the guys.
I had the chicken burger, reasonable priced around $14, I definitely would recommend the burger and the pub.

maybe try the chicken burger....
The fish and chips I had was overpriced ($17) and quite average. I have heard their chicken burger is the best in town - maybe I should have gone with that. The pub itself is nice and warm - good for a beer on a cold night.
