Ecco - Fremantle
I'd been there before with my sister, and was so impressed,I took my husband there tonite to show him what it was all about. The food was really good (we had the pizzas) and it didnt take long for them to arrive. They even allowed us to take our leftover pizza home with us. I would recommend them 100% :)

why bother?
I took my visiting parents to the newly opened Fremantle Ecco, what a disappointment.
We went on a quiet lunchtime and being only the second table in there, watched as the place started to fill up and everyone around us was being served first.
Waiting almost an hour with no apology.
We all had pasta, bland, undercooked and cold in the middle. Did not want to make a scene in front of my folkes so waited until I paid. Again offered no apology and staff were rude and curt.
Have to do better than that Ecco if you are going to survive in Freo.
Definitely wont be going back.

pizza's good
The food here is good but the waitresses are not very friendly and rude. I went there with a mate for dinner today and we were told that we had to wait for half an hour for a table. Without asking whether we wanted to wait or just leave, the waitress then left us at the door.. but anyway, it was worth the wait.

Great pizza
I have been here 3 times in 6 weeks and have loved it every time. the atmosphere is great, even with the authentically tacky Euro-techno that was playing once. I have had pizza twice and both times was excellent, speedily served and made from quality ingredients, although the second time there was a little bit of ingredient swapping going on. I also tried the Spaghetti Vongole (baby clam) which was excellent, fresh whole clams - none of that tinned gunk - and a decent garlicky serve with al dente pasta. Service was pleasant but a bit slack, I do however think this place is a total winner and is my favorite Italian in Perth after Spaghi's in South Perth.
