Epitomising the phrase hidden gem this little restaurant, tucked away in the unassuming suburb of Eastwood, is a real find for lovers of truly authentic North Chinese cuisine.
With Eastwood Garden it is hard to define which is the bigger shock, the quality of the food or the pittance charged for it. As you might expect the Peking duck is a top contender for best dish here: crispy-skinned, succulent and served in two courses for almost half the price you might find closer to the city. However, if you're feeling more adventurous then the braised sea cucumber with mushrooms might just be up your alley. The textural main event on this plate may not be for everyone, but is considered quite a delicacy.
