I had a nearly identical experience when I went to Each Peach - dirty dishes scattered all over the large communal table were left there for around 20 minutes. Staff seemed completely uninterested in serving people. It was not obvious that there were written menus or where they were located & there was no sign to say to order at the counter. I went on the recommendation that this place was 80% vegetarian, when the reverse was true- aside from breakfast eggs, there was only one vegetarian dish on the menu (the spinach pie was not available). The good news: I had the Big Greek Beans, which were delicious. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience and it's extremely unlikely I will be going back.

Each Peach
After reading a review for Each Peach my Husband and I went for a mission to the other side of town to try out this new cafe. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.
Entered Each Peach, was ignored even though they were not overly busy. Found our own table that was covered in dirty plates from the previous patrons and wasn't cleared for 10mins after sitting. Weren't offered water. Realized after sitting there for 20mins that we were to order at the counter. No smiles or friendliness from any staff. Didn't help that there wasn't any music in venue.
When our coffee arrived we were pleasantly surprised that it was well made. I had Soy , Husband had regular milk.
When food arrived it was tasty but nothing more than I could make at home.
unfortunately when there are so many great cafe's in Melbourne if the service is lacking then it doesn't matter how good the food is.
Hoping that Each Peach was just having a bad day we may give it another go at a later date.
