Dukkah

After upgrading to a new and more spacious site at the end of 2005, Dukkah continues to serve the light and flavoursome cafe fare that made its previous incarnation so popular. Specialising in brunches, diners can opt for healthy muesli or treat themselves to the ever-popular roast pumpkin, spinach and feta omelette with onion jam (and optional sausage for a bit of extra indulgence). For those who can't get a seat, there is always a range of sandwiches, lasagne, risotto balls and similar snacks on display in the cabinet - along with the allure of a rich brownie for later.

Over charging?
Had lunch at Dukkah with friends today, the third time I've been there. Second time they overcharged us, I noticed and it was promptly corrected. This time I did not check until later, and yes they did it again. So, will not be going back. Pity cause the service and food was good, cept the wine glass was chipped (charged for it anyway), the hot chocolate was cold and the servings were small.

Awesome lunch
I've heard lots about Dukkah but had never ventured in until last week - how I wish I'd taken the plunge and gone before – awesome, awesome place, great seating arrangements and the most beautiful food that caters for all - I loved my meal but found I wanted to try everyone else's also - which simply means I'll have to go back! A bit noisy, but apart from that it’s a fantastic place. Go now, enjoy the food, atmosphere and service. Your wallet will love them also - great prices.
