Restaurant Information
Don Vincenzo
How often do you see a barista clad in white shirt, dark tie and an apron outside of an old photograph? At Don Vincenzo's, the staff try to combine that old-fashioned Italian experience with Brunswick Street's famous bohemian streak. Sit by the coffee bar under two huge windows and delight in the characters that pass you by as you throw back an espresso. To eat, there's Vincenzo's famous caesar salad, smoked salmon bruschetta or chicken with black bean marinade, garlic, lime and coriander. Breakfast is available until 6pm, so never mind if you've had an indulgent sleep-in, there's bound to be a handful of scruffy, sleepy Brunswick Street locals rolling in for their eggs around the same time as you.

I love this place
This place is good, really very good and so often overlooked because it's sits right next door to the rather famous and somewhat over-rated, Mario's. I've eaten at "Don Vincenz" (as I affectionately refer to it)a few times, well actually I'm probably a regular now and I have absolutely no complaints . . . about anything. I've had their pizza, their pasta, their breakfasts, their wine, their coffee and all of it, everytime, has been scrumptious! Their pizza especially is delicious, they do that really nice thin base that I'm particularly partial to or rather prefer over all other bases, and their toppings are great and more importantly fresh. Sometomies I ask for Chorizo to be added or this or that and they're always happy to mix and match for me, which is rare I think. Sorry, I have been rambling a bit (it's just sooo good)but before I finish up, can I just say their eggs benedict is to die for, truly the best on the street but it's their service which is truly remarkable, they are fantastic! Viva Don Vincenz and grazie mille!
