Located in the Mitcham Square Shopping Centre and close to the cinemas, Dolci is a popular pre- or post-movie spot. The interior is slick and sophisticated, and the food is good quality, tasty Italian cafe fare. The blue swimmer crab risotto with asparagus, chilli and fresh tomato finished with brandy and a touch of cream is a rich but rewarding choice, as is the chicken fillet wrapped in crispy prosciutto and filled with sundried tomato tapenade, baby spinach and bocconcini, with a rose sauce and garlic cream mash and vegetables.
