Recently taken over by up-and-coming Adelaide chef Darren Packer, this place has undergone a renovation and a complete turnaround, fast becoming one of the CBD's worst-kept breakfast and lunch secrets. With an emphasis on organic, local produce, Packer's aim of providing the local office lunch-crowd with healthy, gourmet alternatives to the usual choices looks like it's already succeeding beyond expectation. The fresh, healthy gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads on offer here are of a much higher quality than the grub being served up by the usual suspects in the neighbouring food halls, and the friendly, relaxed service makes this place a lovely spot to stop in for a meal with a difference. Look out for this classy little number, and for Packer, whose star is sure to continue rising.
