The city skyline acts as a romantic backdrop to a dinner at Dish, a Restaurant, the premier dining destination at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour. Chef Simon Harrison and his team concoct a fine selection of modern Australian dishes, such as the roasted lamb rack topped with spinach and shitake mushroom, and served with roasted vegetable strudel and port wine sauce; and the braised venison and onion tart with parsnip puree, herb-roasted tomatoes on the vine, glazed in balsamic. The wine list covers local and New Zealand wines, as well as some French Champagne for anyone in a particularly bubbly mood. For something more sobering, the international buffet breakfasts are sure to start the day off in a spritely way.
