Opened in 1994 by the DiMattina family, owners of various popular restaurant ventures across Australia including Melbourne's Il Gambero and Society Restaurant, DiMattina's underwent a stellar modernisation in 2008, now with a marble bar and tables, as well as an attractive collage documenting the family's colourful history. The connection between then and now is complete with the warm service and traditional Italian meals served in this modern dining environment. From pastas such as the fettuccine DiMattina, featuring pan-fried chicken pieces with avocado, pesto, spring onions, cream and Napoli sauce, to mains such as the 700gm sweet and sour pork spare ribs, DiMattina's has an illustrious selection of flavour sensations - and Italian vino - to dive into.

Great spot!
I've been here many times, and it's a place I love to come back to. Friendly, efficient service, enjoyable food and a great atmosphere! I've always felt that the management and staff genuinely care about your dining experience - nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Happy to recommend this restaurant to all.
