From the 1500s to the 1800s, the Mughal Empire (the Mogul Empire) ruled over India, spawning a specific imperial culinary tradition that survives even today. Delhi Moguls brings the aromas and flavours of Mughlai cuisine back into focus, cooking up dishes like surkh laal seekh kebab (skewered lamb minced with tandoori masala, ginger, garlic and green chillies), cochi prawn curry (a coastal Indian prawn dish with bay leaves, coconut and lemon), and a special Delhi Moguls-style chicken tikka masala. This spacious dining room is warmly appointed with white-clothed tables, red ochre walls and luminous paintings to craft an especially intimate space.
