Named after its owner, athletic hero Robert de Castella (Deeks), this bakery and cafe is devoted to offering a tasty, healthy bread alternative for people with gluten and grain intolerances. Inside, the shelves are stacked with surprisingly appealing products (who knew gluten-free food could look so good?) such as pumpkin seed bread and herb and olive focaccia bread. Sweet teeth are more than satisfied with such tasty morsels as friands, cakes and the Belgian chocolate log. While contemplating the choices, diners can pull up a pew on the outdoor patio and sample some breakfast pancakes, one of Deeks' own meat pies or a Fairtrade coffee.
