Before or after catching a fantastic flick at the Cinema Paris next door, you might hear your tummy grumbling for something more substantial than popcorn and choc-tops. That's where Deck on Bent comes in. Cool and stylish in decor, and cool and relaxed in attitude, this cafe, restaurant and bar offers a mostly Mediterranean menu certain to hit that hunger spot. There's something for everyone, really - burgers, schnitzels, salads, soups, pastas, risottos, antipasto plates, steaks, fish, poultry, and the all-important kids' meals. And finally, the namesake outdoor deck on Bent Street is a more than worthy spot to enjoy a summer's eve with a glass of vino in hand.

Loved it
My family and I went to deck on bent for dinner the other night after a movie. I would just like to say that we all were very impressed with this place. The service is absolutely fantastic and the quality of the food is A1. The service certainly stands out, my kids did not stop telling us how nice the waiter is and how friendly he was. Highly recommended.

Review of deck on bent - not a positive one
My wife and I thought this cafe looked alright with thier lunch special. the waitress greeted us and showed us to our seats. After ordering our drinks the waitress came back and said they did not have the drink I ordered, being nrl gameday I thought they would have my beer.we ordered our meals ,my wife asked how many skewers came in the lamb andhommus, the waitress was unsure and quoted 5. after ordering my wife and I had to use the restrooms.both restrooms dirty and were not cleaned. We recieved our meals and noticed that there were only 2 lamb skewers.I then proceded to cut my beef burger and found it to have raw bits of mince. I informed the waitress and said that we do not want the burger, she asked of we want it reheated and I said no and proceeded to ask for the check. After the waitress brought us the check we had noticed that the burger was not taken off,the waitress then forwarded me to the manager (Peter).he then proceeded to tell me the burger wasfully cooked for over 10 mins and it was probably the light made it look like that, he then wanted told me he would reheat the burger, I told him I did not want it anymore and asked if the burger Can be taken offbecause I have never been served with a raw mince patty though he refused and kept argueing the point that it was me who was wrong.after 2 mins of argueing I got fed up and paid for an inferior meal.we were extremely dissapointed overall with deck on vents attitude and quality
