Espresso obsession is fast taking hold of more and more Australians - and who could blame them when you've got the likes of Dead Man Espresso out there? Tucked away in the backstreets of South Melbourne, this funky coffee house offers Seven Seeds blends, including a sweet single-origin blend produced solely for Dead Man Espresso. Meanwhile, on the food front, you've got all-day brekkies, like panzanella with poached eggs and smoked paprika sausages; and mod-Oz lunch bites like the gourmet BLT featuring pork belly and rocket pesto on a brioche with gazpacho, to go with your inevitable multiple cuppas.

A really funk cafe
Light and fluffy ricotta pancakes. The panzanella is excellent. Coffee served on the warm side, but upon asking for a 'hot' one the result was satisfying.
Food takes a while to come out but its a very enjoyable to place to hang out and when full there is quite a loud buzz in the place.
