With the emphasis on southern Indian dishes, Darbar offers something a little unusual in the way of Indian restaurants. It is also relatively subdued - offering a refreshingly calm and serene atmosphere. The old sandstone building has seen a lot of history (it used to house Darling Mills), and its remaining eccentric features are wonderfully Glebe.

Great food, great atmosphere
Had a quick meal here - and couldn't fault it. We had a banquet (between two people) and it was fresh, tasty and inexpensive. Better than most Indian restaurants I've been to.
