Relocating from the north Brissie suburb of Clayfield to the southern outlier of Calamvale, Da Sette Soldi is a local gem that carries a solid reputation from its original home back in Auckland, New Zealand. Owner/chef Kane George re-creates the magic here, bringing people together over rustic Italian cuisine and some lovely local and Italian wines. His menu covers the favourite pizza and pasta creations, along with meat specialties like the pollo apricot (chicken breasts in marsala wine sauce, topped with a half apricot and Camembert cheese in cream sauce) and seafood temptations like garlic king prawns and seafood chowder.
