A bustling and friendly spot popular with the weekend breakfast crowd (mainly for the banana pancakes and the house baked beans and chorizo cassoulet), this place also has a lunch and dinner menu that draws in families, couples and young groups.
The seafood platter for two could feed a hungry family of eight. It comes overflowing with Moreton Bay bugs, sand crab, prawns, oysters, calamari and marinated octopus served with dips, salad and fries. The tapas menu is varied and large, with traditional Spanish dishes (mini paella and serrano ham are the real deal) mixing with some with a more modern, Australian take on the idea (lamb backstrap, lemon pepper calamari).
