With restaurants in Wahroonga and Thornleigh, it appears the Curry House formula is a successful one. The premise is simple enough: use the best possible ingredients in the authentic recipes that have made Indian food a classic the world over.
The menu leans more on the north Indian side of subcontinental cuisine (think butter chicken, rogan josh and vindaloo), but it's by no means all Curry House does. There are a select few specialties, chicken madras and fish Malabari to name a few, for those who prefer the southern style of cooking.
