South Australia is a food lover's paradise and under the guidance of young chefs Alice Lethbridge and Kerryn Oats, the Currant Shed certainly lives up to the region's hype. The duo offer diners country fare with a decidedly modern undertone. Dishes such as char-grilled Kanagaroo fillet with beetroot, mulberries and broccolini with couscous is just one example of how old is melded with new. The majority of produce used is sourced locally from the Hoffmann's estate and the surrounding area.
