This ultra kid-friendly cafe actually looks like an oversized cubbyhouse from the outside, and is an absolute heaven for kids on the inside, too. There's storytelling, face painting, homemade organic playdough and picnic rugs for the park outside, but the main attractions are the meals for both adults and children. For the young'uns, there are Cheeky Monkeys (banana smoothies), Kermit the Frogs (avocado on toast), Humpty Dumpties (boiled eggs with knitted hats and vegemite soldiers) and babycinos that come with marshmallow eyes and chocolate smiley faces. For the adults, there are some well-priced cafe basics, plus the added bonus of healthy takeaway children's dinners during the week, which is like a gift from above for too-tired-to-cook parents. A winner for all, it's no wonder the cubbyhouse is gaining popularity, and fast.
