The Crown and Sceptre is the home of retro style in Adelaide's CBD. The culture, the design and the theme nights all conspire to ensure a good time is had by all. The menu reflects the attitude of the place: the best way to describe the food is fusion cuisine. Chef Dom Medder takes a little piece from all parts of the world to make special dishes all his own. The dining room feels warm and comfortable, while the hushed din from the bar next door keeps you wondering what to do after lunch or dinner. The staff are helpful with the menu, and if you have any requests. The 200-strong wine list covers a select range of boutique options, while protecting the innocent with a few commercial options for safety.

Great pub, great food, great staff, great atmosphere
This is a little Gem, the food was fantastic, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, the pub section next door (same establishment) had a good atmosphere for a sunday night in Adelaide, they knew about gluten-free and had choices and it was a good overall experience. There is also an alfresco area, but it was too cold to enjoy.
