Ahhh, the Courthouse. Good beers, good burgers and good mates - what's not to love? A sentimental favourite of many a Newtown local, "The Courty" is a hidden treasure just a stroll off King Street. The front area is much like any other old-fashioned pub, and fits like a comfy slipper. Further into this venue you find the lively modern bistro, which spans a large space indoors, the sheltered deck, and possibly one of the coolest beer gardens you'll find in the Inner West, let alone Sydney. Here you can consume quality pub fare ranging from haloumi salad to homemade lasagne.
