There's a tendency with some cafes to take on the feel of their suburb. In a place like Mosman you can sometimes expect the affluent neighbourhood to seep into the pretension of its local cafes. Happily this isn't the case with Counting Sheep, where the quaint knick-knackery of the decor is as affably unassuming as the friendly service.
The menu is straight up and down cafe classics, with an all-day breakfast menu earning plenty of bonus points to boot. Contrary to the name, the rich and strong coffee is much more likely to have you bouncing off the walls than counting sheep.
