TRULY DISSAPOINTING EXPERIENCE !
After attending the Copocabana for a 60th Birthday, l must say this was NOT an enjoyable experience. Yes they do have a bar but unfortunately drinks are EXTREMELY over priced Spirits $9.50 per glass,Beer $9.50 per stubbie, Soft Drinks $4.00 per glass. After paying good money for entry out of principal we refused to pay these prices. The promised meal being 7 meats yer right - the food was also done on the cheap the meat consisted of Chicken legs, chicken wings, chicken hearts, sausage, chewy lamb, and the cheapest cut of beef, oh and pork which our table didnt sight. Dessert again absolute letdown, management should take a look around the tables when clearing dishes, that says it all. Apart from being crammed into your seat with no room to move and being extremely hot all evening, we couldnt wait to leave. Word of advise do yourself a favour dont waste your money on this over rated restuarant.

Great Night Out
Great Food, Great Show. It was given me what it was promised.Vegie love - come on! These guys are a barbecue place! What would you expect?! Roasted Pumpkins and Carrots on a stick? I don't go to a vegetarian restaurant expecting they have sausages or steaks ready to go just in case! That's so wrong! If you want veggies that's not the place to go, although they have a massive buffet salad full of vegetables and salad. Anyway if you want a great night out with lots of food, yeah. Me and my mates had a delightful night. We like the Kapoera (don't know, the brazilian fight or dance) and we thought the dancing girls were beautiful.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!
Being Argentinian myself...I must say Copacabana was all I'd hoped for and more! The music & the show were truly amazing. Not being Brazilian myself I was still mesmerised by the dancers and men performing Capoeira. The meal is certainly not fit for vegetarians but then again meat is the cultural dish of South America - opt for another location if you're in search for salads and something less "cultural" because thats what Copa is about - being Brazilian for the night and having an awesome time doing it! From a very happy customer who is assured to become a regular :)

Vegetarians, eat before you get there!
It is quite traditional in presentation and food and they pull it off well. If you are of Latin background you would know that. Cabaret can be tacky, but that's how they are. Its a great laugh. Oh, and vego, don't go to Brazil cause you will starve!

Vegetarians, eat before you get there!
Being a vegetarian, particularly a vegan, isn't easy. If you're vegetarian or vegan, and you are invited to a shin dig at Copacabana, make sure you are prepared to donate $40 for next to no food and ensure that you've eaten well before you get there.
As if having sword-like skewers of flesh and offal put in your face constantly isn't bad enough (despite saying, 'no thank you, I'm vegetarian', repeatedly), when everyone else has finished their meal and your meal finally arrives, understand that it is not an entree...that small handful of greens and roasted vegetables is your main course!
Yes, we vegetarians are obviously regarded as superhumans that don't require protein, texture or even flavour.
I have rated this restaurant as the poorest for vegetarians I have encountered thus far (and I'm a mature-aged person that has been to many, many restaurants!). The fact that my needs were not respected meant they scored poorly on service, although they did have one delightful waitress. I have rated the atmosphere as poor, as I had such a hungry stomach I just couldn't get into the rest of the festivities. No amount of impressive dancing could lift my spirits on a hungry stomach.
