Just what we needed ......
None of our group of 7 had been there before and everything was a pleasant surprise. The service was warm, friendly and discreet. It was obvious that some of the other customers had been there before and now returned for more of the relaxed atmosphere. The meals were mouth watering to look at and did not disappoint when eaten. Each one in our group said that they would love to return and experience another meal (and another etc.)

All round winner
This restaurant has a great menu, a couple of good, interesting vegetarian options (which makes a nice change), excellent service, and a warm and comfortable ambiance. My only minor criticism is that the pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi dish was a little on the small side and the gnocchi is a little sloppy. The sticky date pudding is to die for!

Totally adorable with YUMMY food!
I love this place. It has fantastic food and is really cosy. Make sure you try the breakfast - they have ones from all over the world. My favourite is the Basque with avocado and sweet chilli mmmmmm

Great night out
I had organised a baby shower/girlie dinner for my sister at Continental Cafe for 14. We were booked into the front room which we had to ourselves, it's decorated in French cottage style which was lovely. Given the size of our party, we had to have a set menu which Oliver and the team were very flexible with given my numerous changes! The food was great, service was attentive given we were in a completely separate area of the rest of the restaurant. All agreed that the night was a success and I'd highly recommend Continental Cafe for a great night out!

Bon appetit at this little French wonder
On the way home from the hairdresser one day, I stumbled upon this gorgeous restaurant. The menu seemed interesting, so I booked a table for that night. My partner and I are quite picky about food and often seem to experience atrocious table service. However, The Continental not only has mouth-watering food, but the wait staff are discreet and of a high standard. The osso bucco was amazing and they also have a fantastic wine list. Excellent for a romantic night out.
