Co Do

Despite its basic decor, this eatery offers happy punters a slew of yummy and satisfying taste sensations. The Vietnamese fare on offer here includes classic dishes such as pho and bun bo hue, the former of which comes with the optional accoutrement of pig's blood. There's also a selection of noodle dishes on offer, which utilise lusciously silken vermicelli rice noodles - so soft they're rumoured to melt upon contact with diners' mouths.

Great food, one bad egg...
I have been going to Co Do regularly for the past 6 months & it is by far my favourite restaurant on Victoria St. The Pho is consistently delicious & very reasonably priced & when I can resist the Pho there are a number of other treasures to be found on the comprehensive menu. My one complaint about Co Do has nothing to do with the aesethetics of the decor nor the predominantly cheery service but is directed at one of the regular wait staff who, without exception manages to taint each visit with his rudeness. Apparently unable to smile his monosyllabic grunts consistently cause offence in spite of the remainder of the staff who are lovely. I recommend you try Co Do but go on a Saturday as this appears to be his day off.

Almost a second home
I often eat along Victoria Street and since discovering Co Do recently, I have stopped trying new places and eat here on a weekly basis! Flavoursome and fresh vietnamese food (especially rice noodle soup), friendly service and extremely reasonable prices make it hard to walk past this place.
