Clover


The latest project of serial cafe-opener Adriano Matteoni, this Mediterranean-influenced eatery is a welcome change from the usual morning spots. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced, with baked beans receiving a Middle Eastern makeover with some chilli labne.

The decor is typically eclectic. Knick-knacks adorn the handmade wall cabinets and the colour scheme is light and refreshing. Featuring child-friendly teapots full of crayons, this chalkboard-menued venue offers a nice point of difference to the countless other cafes in the area.

Rumoured to be heading overseas in the near future, this may be Matteoni's last addition to the Sydney cafe scene, but it's certainly a welcome one.
