A stone's throw from the Brisbane CBD in trendy Teneriffe, Claret House Wine Bar offers some seriously good vino. There's also some great modern Australian fare on offer including grazing plates, mains and delightful desserts all created by former Augustine chef, Dan Cossart.
A neat selection of boutique beers rounds out the drinks menu, particularly beneficial for patrons with a hankering for a hoppy brew instead of a libation that requires a cork screw.

Lovely Place
Claret House is a very nice bar/restaurant. The wine lsit is extensive and has quite a lot of wines I haven't seen before. The menu is on the short side but is very inexpensive and the food was good. Service was exceptional. Atmosphere was nice, definitely a 25+ crowd. Recommended.
