Fittingly elegant given its lodgings in the flash Hotel Bruce County, Clancy's Grill is a fine mod-Oz restaurant that dabbles in premium chargrilled meats and fresh seafood to get those tongues wagging. As you'd expect from any respectable place that calls itself a grill, Clancy's scotch fillets, rib eyes, wagyu sirloins, lamb racks, pork cutlets and kangaroo fillets are of top quality, many of which are sourced from the Gippsland region and elsewhere in Victoria.
The rest of the menu oozes the same sophistication, covering dishes such as hand-made pillow ravioli, risotto of wild duck, and whole rainbow trout. The desserts, like the Valrhona chocolate and orange tart, and the French, English and Tasmanian cheese plates, make for a fine finish indeed.

A lovely restaurant in the suburbs.
What a find! After driving past this establishment many times thinking it was only a bistro, we were pleasantly surprised that a separate restaurant, that provided atmosphere, service and great food was within the property. The selection of wines is vast with quality wines on hand. The winemakers meals that the restaurant has from time to time is a great way to enjoy great food and wine.
