Affectionately known to regulars as "Chooch", Ciuccio Restaurant takes the place of Sugo in Salamanca Square, attracting anyone with a penchant for modern Italian cuisine. The setting is classy yet casual, letting diners kick back with a glass of vino while absorbing the lively atmosphere. Sourcing plenty of local produce, Ciuccio's chefs prepare an authentic range of antipasto, pizza, pasta, risotto, salad and veal dishes. These include sensations like risotto with Huon Valley mushrooms, truffle oil and shaved parmigiano, and the Dolce Latte pizza with sauteed leeks, gorgonzola and mozzarella.

Salamanca standout
Visited here twice during my recent stay in Hobart and every course my partner and i had was outstanding. Nothing fancy , just great food. The place was very busy both times with only two staff on so the delay in food and wine was not entirely their fault. Well wort the visit in this area of rather average , try hard cafes.
