City Hotel

Clear and simple, the City Hotel delivers everything you'd want out of a city hotel: it's located right in the heart of the CBD, it does good pub fare, and it provides a classy space for its mainly professional clientele. The buzzing main bar and terrace often fill up with suits and heels enjoying a good vino, as well as one of the burgers, sandwiches, steaks, vegie stacks, parmas or salads from the nosh menu. If you're out to celebrate, do so in the posh, Victorian-style surrounds of the chesterfield-filled, upstairs Kent Street Living Room.

comfy cosy winter lunch!
I am sharing my recent fabulous dining experience at the new Kent Street Living room which is upstairs of the City Hotel. This new space was buzzing on the friday lunch-time i ate here. The space is filled with generous dining room style tables and beautiful and very comfortable vintage sofas. This new space is a great alternative to the very pub style seating arrangements downstairs and offers a quieter, more cosy room to enjoy a hearty, generous traditional pub meal. The specials change every friday and they do sell out quickly so im told it's advised to come and order before 1. Upstairs is the perfect area for large groups and bookings can be taken if desired.
Overall a fantastic venue located in the heart of the city but away from the crazy hustle and bustle. A beautiful space where you can enjoy every mouthful of your delicious meal without feeling rushed or cramped.
