Au Cirque

Welcome to the circus. This laidback cafe in the bohemian district of New Farm is the place to go if breakfasts are your thing, and even if brekkie time has come and gone, poached eggs and porridge (not together of course) are still yours to enjoy. The menu specialises in organic fare, with such tantalising options as poached eggs with avocado, mushrooms, potato and parmesan rosti with wilted spinach and onion jam on sourdough bread. New owners Christopher and Giselle Massieu took over in early 2009, keeping Au Cirque a step ahead with its relaxed attitude, friendly atmosphere and great breakfast and lunch nosh.

Breakfast connoisseurs
Cirque has it all when it comes to breakfast. The prices are a little more than one would usually expect for a breakfast menu but if you are wanting to treat yourself with top shelf food and your not in a rush this is the place to go.

there are two levels with some outdoor seating, cafe style downstairs and both table sharing and window seats with a view of brunswick st upstairs- great for drifting away or people watching.

It can get busy, the meals do take a long time to come out and the waitress forgot our coffee.

recommendations the omlette is always a delicious, and the chow down is awesome with a vego option too.

Nice Breakfast - service a bit lax
I went for breakfast to Cirque - had the big breakfast and my friend had the corn cakes.

Loved the food, liked the coffee, but it took a bit long to get the coffee.

Great Brekky
It seems I have to wait every time I go to Cirque for a table but every time it's been worth the wait. The corn cakes with bacon are delicious as is the big brekky which also come in a vegetarian option. The coffee is also outstanding. Cirque definitely ranks in my top 3 brekky spots in brissy.

We need more breakfast places like this in Brisbane
The food is outstanding here, as are the coffees. The menu has everything that you would want from a breakfast, and the ingredients are all top quality.
