Bloody wonderful!
Just spent the month of October in Newtown visiting my younger daughter and her family and Cinque became my regular haunt, as, indeed, it already is for her and her friends. Great atmosphere, excellent staff, wonderful grub (especially their Eggs Benedict with bacon!) and good value. The decor is looking a little tired and in need of refreshment but since it's the people who mainly create the atmosphere - who cares? I used many other eateries during my stay in Sydney but have to say that Cinque was easily my favourite place to chill out.

It's ok
MY friend loves the dessert here but I have yet to try. The food is reasonable but nothing great. Its located next to the Dendys and it always seem to have people there. The variety on the menu is larger than other places. The banana and hazelnut smoothy was great!! Though looking at it, you think you were drinking something grainy!! Tastes a lot better than it looks.

Fantastic
I have been frequenting Cinque since it first opened (1997?) if my memory serves me right, and still going there to date (2006). Consistency has been the key for me. The food is always yummy, the prices are great, along with a great menu plus the staff are always helpful and friendly. The queue for a seat can sometimes be long, but it is definitely worth the wait.
