Not happy Jan.
The food was very ordinary. I had Osso bucco. I got a nice serving of tender well cooked meat but the whole dish lacked flavour and was not representative of the true dish. My partner had chicken catitorre which was dry and tasteless. Neither of us eat sweets and were most dissappointed to be informed that a cheese plate was not on the menu and could not be served. An Italian restaurant without cheese!!!

Very happy :)
We went to Cicconi's for a special occasion and found everything to be excellent. The food was very very good. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. We went on a relatively busy night which made it a little noisy ... but you would expect this. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back again !

Not up to standard ...
Shared dinner with a large group recently. Pretty disappointed overall. Starters of chorizo, olives, dip and turkish bread were fine. My seafood risotto was very ordinary, didn't even use arborio rice but normal long-grain and it tasted like a (very bad) paella!!?? The calzone was served burnt and when this was meekly pointed out the response was "yes, it is isn't it". No move was made to take it back to the kitchen until a second person spoke up and told them to replace it. Various other mains of steak, chicken etc. were adequate. Side garden salads were very ordinary for the price and came with next to no dressing. Service was satisfactory but nothing to rave about. Not sure I'd bother going back as it's not value for money.

Disappointed
Been to Cicconni's on a regular basis for a few years.
Hadn't been for over 6 months so we decided to give it another go. As the title says we were disappointed. The food has gone from been excellent to bland.
I hope this was just an off night & that things will improve

Very poor dining experience
We went on a busy Saturday night and the room was too noisy, but we got a table. The waitresses were friendly and service wasn't bad.

The food, however, was pretty bad. The squid starter didn't have much taste and the so called aioli was tasteless mayo.

For mains we ordered meat eaters pizza, which would have been alright if the pizza base hadn't let it down big time! It had the typical texture of a ready made frozen pizza dough.

The seafood spaghetti was fairly flavourless - there wasn't that much seafood in it and it tasted as if it had been added at the very end of cooking. The red sauce didn't taste of sea food at all.

First time last time
We attended in Nov 07. Two adults, two teenagers. This place was recomended. Food took too long, two meals were cold, we had to leave table to get staff's attention. When paying the bill we were asked if everything was OK, we said no and no further responce was offered. Maybe we went on a bad night but won't be going back for seconds.

A happy dining experience
This was the first time I had been to Cicconi's and that was only because its apart of the BankWest Reward Me program.

We book for 6 on a busy Saturday night and I have to say that we were impressed from the start.

The food was great and everyone was impressed with their meals, I ordered the duck and found it to taste very natural and 'earthy'. Staff were busy all night but we always had a full bottle of water on the table and did not have to wait to place our orders or grab their attention. Atmosphere was good but it was a little to loud resulting in one end of the table yelling at the other end.

Will definitely go back.

First timer
Went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and found it to be a great place to eat. Menu was extensive. The food was plentiful, served hot and in good time. My wife and I had a good night in spite of the noisy boozy women over the back and will return to this place. Recommended.

Thrid time lucky!
We have been to this restaurant twice before and have not been impressed until now. Food was served cold, the service was poor and the final bill was incorrect.
Needless to say last night we were not there by our own choice but that of our friends and we are happy to say we were pleasantly surprised.
The restaurant was very busy and a bit too noisy but that did subside as the evening went on.
The service was a lot better than in the past though we did have to ask twice for several things. The place was full so the staff were on the run all night and there was little time for niceties. The food was tasty and served hot.
We will return.
