Coffee lovers in New Farm have much to grin about with espresso bars like this one. Owned by four Italian-Australians, the Cibo Espresso brand has travelled up from its hometown in Adelaide to the sunny coasts of Brisbane, with outlets in West End and Chermside, alongside this New Farm gem. Bringing a touch of Roman cafe culture to the Merthyr Village shopping district, this friendly cafe flies high on its much-loved 100 percent Arabica bean coffees, and a fresh selection on pizzas, cakes, pastries, breads, salads and gelatos. Prime bites include the Calabrese foccacia with spicy salami, provolone cheese, black olive paste and fresh tomato for lunch, or the rotolo al cotto: leg ham and Swiss cheese rolled in brioche pastry for brekkie.
