Ciao Baby

You can't miss this place - just look for the two-storey Victorian building painted a brilliant fire-engine red. Inside, choose from a selection of dining areas including the Pacino private dining room complete with chandelier. There are a few street tables, but then you'll miss out on the bustling living atmosphere inside. The young, vibrant staff take their work seriously and customers are well looked after. The menu covers traditional and authentic Italian food and the pizzas are exceptional. For mains you can expect treats like pan-seared quail stuffed with vine ash goats curd, piquillo peppers with braised date and fig emulsion. Check out the good selection of Italian and local wines.

Fresh, homemade, very nice
Love it. Great food, fantastic home made pasta and nice owners.

Unfortunately the service is a little on the slow side, but the fresh, taste packed ingredients make the slight wait worthwhile.

We'll be going back for more.

Poor service in an industry where competition is fierce will kill you...
Food and atmosphere were good. Service was lacking.

The restaurant is licensed and BYO wine only. Our party of three brought 2 bottles of wine and the waitress merely plonked an ice bucket on the table and walked away. That, and delivering the food to the table was the sum total of our service. For the action of dropping off an ice bucket on her way past our table we were charged $9 corkage ($3 per person).

I can imagine restaurant staff must have bad days and nights as we all do, but unfortunately that experience means I won't be returning to this restaurant, despite having enjoyed the food. How many other diners that night felt the same way?

I know that restaurants make money out of alcohol and not food so there is sometimes attitude about byo wine. But if the attitude is there, don't have a byo policy, simple.

There are better Italian restaurants in Brisbane.

Not So Hot!
The dips were nice and so was the Italian salad. The rabbit was very dry but the veal was nice! Busy place, but food needs improving.

Yum
I can't believe such a chic little place is in Albion. I loved the pasta and the waiter suggested the perfect wine to go along with it.
