Chutney Mary's is a very popular Indian restaurant in central Subiaco - be sure to book ahead. It's colourful, elegant and cosmopolitan with unique table settings. Chicken 65 is a great starter and the rogan josh is a popular choice for main. Alternatively, try the spicy house specialty achaar gosht (curried baby goat on the bone).

Best Indian in Perth!
We originally planned to go elsewhere for dinner, but upon arriving, it was really empty so we quickly left and decided on Chutney Mary's. After hearing about how good it was, we decided to go in. Luckily we got a seat without a booking but had to clear out in an hour. Food came out quickly (unlike a few other Indian restaurants). I had the chicken vindaloo and the portion looked quite small, but with the rice, garlic naan and another bread, it was quite filling. Nice moist chicken. It wasn't too hot. I'd definitely come back!

Not up to expectations
I've been wanting to go to Chutney Mary's for over a year, and finally got to go last Friday night. The restaurant was buzzing and full which was great to see. We were seated at the bar while we waited for our table to become free. Maitre'd was friendly and didn't forget about us. Finally got to our table which was squashed up against a wall. Food was good, not great as expected. Garlic naan was huge and pretty good. We ordered chicken korma, butter chicken, a spinach curry dish and a potato and bean dish. All good, but was hoping for more. Staff were great and very attentive. Meal was reasonably priced.
