Located at the Toff in Town, this latest addition to Curtin House adds another dimension to the already versatile head chef Karen Batson.
Far removed from her more well-known projects, gastro-pub Cookie and Colonel Tan's, the menu at Choo Choo's definitely doesn't take itself too seriously. The playfully-titled Water Buffalo Salad is a Thai twist on a classic - buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomato dressed with spring onion, chilli and Thai basil. The "make your own degustation" style menu isn't all frivolity, though, as the Ode to the Toff cheese platter clearly demonstrates.
