When you think of the northern beaches you think of sand, surf and skin. But who goes to the beach on a nice day without wanting an ice cream? Chill Bar in Dee Why and Avalon address just that need, making gelato and sorbet fresh every day, and dabbling in delicious flavours like peach mango cheesecake, white choc raspberry, English toffee, green apple, and Red Bull (believe it or not!). This family-owned business keeps the coffees and teas flowing too, with a couple of basic focaccias if you want some savoury nosh.
