From the glorious chateaus of Brittany in regional France to the sunny surrounds of Sydney, crepes have travelled far and wide, having won many a devout devourer along the way. Chez Lulu ensures that the love affair between crepes and their avid eaters won't end any time soon. Carrying the French tradition through to this chic Bondi Junction cafe, owner and chef Ludovic Cognard (affectionately nicknamed "Lulu") makes savoury crepes (galettes) using organic buckwheat flour, as well as sweet crepes and waffles.
Focused on offering a healthy snacking experience, Cognard also makes flavour a priority by blending quality ingredients into a united taste, as with the Parisienne crepe, which features sliced turkey, avocado, tomato and cranberry sauce, or the Belle Helene sweet crepe, which includes pear, melting chocolate, ice cream and whipped cream. Located at the Bronte Road entrance to the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre, it's easy to find, and hard to leave.
