There are more than 100 dishes on the menu at this spectacularly cheap hole in the wall. Rather indistinguishable from the other ubiquitous shops along this stretch of Liverpool Road, Chen Wang Miao (Chinese Fast Food) is a stand-out in terms of value and flavour. The Shanghainese cooking is home-style (read: expertly authentic rather than sloppy amateur-night food). Share a plate of the potsticker dumplings, steamed or fried, before tucking into one of the myriad noodle dishes or the quaintly named drunken chicken.
