The menu is short but interesting at Chelsea Tea House - where tea-time runs all day. Chef Lucienne Francisco has a formidable reputation in the kitchen so expect mod-Oz fare that soars above the usual cafe standards. Patrons fresh off the beach and friendly staff help to keep the atmosphere relaxed and informal.

One of the best cafes around, superb brisket roll, it melts in your mouth. You can also choose from an array of herbal teas served in iron teapots. It had an English feel but with an Aussie flavour. Well worth a try if wanting to grab a bite, but get there before 12 as seating is limited.
